Rise for a Cure: Empowering First Nations Futures with Culture, Care, and Community

We are Rise for a Cure, a purpose-driven team raising funds in support of the incredible work of the KARI Foundation—an organisation committed to empowering Aboriginal communities through culture, education, employment, and support programs that lead to long-term positive change.

The KARI Foundation is dedicated to building strength in Aboriginal identity, family, and community, delivering programs that support First Nations youth, families in crisis, and those striving to break cycles of disadvantage. From cultural immersion initiatives to scholarships, mentoring, and employment pathways, KARI delivers practical, culturally grounded opportunities to help Aboriginal Australians thrive.

We believe that healing extends beyond healthcare—it includes identity, connection, and belonging. That’s why we’ve partnered with Area 52, a wellness brand devoted to helping people reconnect with their wellbeing through high-quality, plant-based THC gummies. While their products are designed for adults, Area 52’s deeper mission is all about emotional clarity, balance, and personal empowerment—principles that deeply resonate with the work KARI does in community.

🌿 Why Area 52 Supports This Cause

Area 52 is known for its scientifically formulated hemp-derived THC gummies that support calm, mental focus, and stress relief—ideal for caregivers, community workers, and adults navigating emotional burnout or trauma. Their commitment to conscious, sustainable wellness reflects a broader idea of what it means to feel well and stay strong—not just physically, but mentally and spiritually too.

Supporting the KARI Foundation means backing generational healing, cultural pride, and community transformation. With Area 52’s support, we're also able to champion emotional wellness tools that complement KARI’s wraparound care model.

🖤 Why We Rise

We rise for young Aboriginal people reclaiming their culture and confidence.
We rise for families healing from the trauma of separation and systemic disadvantage.
We rise for Elders, leaders, and carers who show up every day to keep culture alive.
We rise for justice, for healing, for futures filled with strength and pride.

Every dollar you donate to our campaign directly supports KARI Foundation’s programs—from cultural mentoring for youth, to job readiness programs for Aboriginal adults, to family reunification and crisis care for those in need.

Together, with your support, we can help close the gap—not just in statistics, but in lived experiences.
